Would you like to volunteer for Basset Hound Rescue?

Basset Hound Rescue of Ontario (BHRO) is operated solely by volunteers - a team of dedicated basset lovers who are passionate and committed to the wellness and happiness of animals of all kinds.

We always have volunteer positions available at every level for those of you who would like to join our team.

Whether you would like to help out on an ongoing basis or at a particular event, we would love to have you.

A sample of some of our positions include:

• Transporting dogs to their new homes (both local and long distance)
• Coordinating and helping at special events
• Following up with new adoptive homes
• Interviewing prospective adopters and foster homes
• Managing the adoption/foster applications

And of course many other positions to suit every interest and schedule.
